Halloween 2009

This year Abby wanted to be a singer she picked out her costume and everything. She did not want to be Hannah Montana just a singer.
She looked so cute!

Of course Maggie was a large pumpkin! We love her and all her chubs!

She managed to leave the hat on most of the time but she did not want to sit still for a picture!

The week of Halloween we had some fun festivities so I made sure the girls were festively dressed. Of course this is what Maggie looks like most of the time!

Maggie is 11 months old today!

Yes its true my baby is walking!!! she started taking steps about 2 weeks ago and standing on her own but this week she finally got brave and started walking from furniture to furniture grabbing whatever she could until a couple days ago now she just tries to walk anywhere as fast as she can til she tumbles over. I tried to get this pictures as she was walking and this is what we got, I swear she really thinks she is neat just look at the look on her face! She even paused to watch T.V for a second. I am not sure of how much she weighs now but a month ago she weighed 23lbs 13oz but that was while she was sick Im pretty sure it's doubled since then! At her 9 month check she was 22lbs 9oz I cant remember her height and head measurements have them written down somewhere but I remember the percentages 97% for height 90%for weight and 50% for head ya she has a tiny head for her body! Next month she will be 1 year old!

Catch up an end to our summer!

Wow a lot has happened this summer and I havent been posting so I have a ton of pictures to catch up on!

I have been on a major "matching" kick lately and the girls match most of the time I am sure they will hate me for this someday but for now they are young enough that I can get away with it.

Also I have been making a ton of bows I have so many that they are covering an entire wall in Abby's room! yes I am insane but I have 2 girls that can wear them, greg thinks im nuts.

Abby has LONG hair can you believe it! I have waited years for this and the best part is she loves getting her hair done so we have been expirimenting with lots of fun and new hairstyles!

I just LOVE these girls so much they seriously make my life so happy! I cant imagine what would do without them they are both so unique and special to me! Even though they are already starting to fight with eachother sometimes I catch them playing together and Abby is such a patient big sister! Its been a great summer more pics to come soon! I have been working on my holiday crafts already and so pics to come of those soon!

Reasons not to paint with a crawling baby

Reason #1. Cant see when baby dumps out a box of envelopes and rips every paper off the computer desk

Reason #2. Cant see when baby pulls out DVD's and video games off entertainment center

Reason #3 Cant see when baby rips off a piece of drywall then eats it

Reason #4 Having to give this baby a bath after she has pulled down the bowl of potpouri and eaten it

Reason #5 having to get red fingerprints out of the couch where she put her little hands to pull herself up

But the most important and Reason #6 is missing out on all of the funny little ways she manages to get herself into trouble. She only thinks she is so sneaky! Plus how can you be mad at that adorable face!

headband and necklaces

I have been making bracelets and necklaces for Abby since before she was born, but I decided it was time to update our choices since many of them are now to small for her and now I have 2 girls! So here are some of the necklaces I made this week also, I also made about 20 of her old bracelets bigger and changed them up a bit.(Hobby Lobby had 50% off beads this week) They are actually a lot bigger than the pic makes them seem.

Since I have had some free time this week I have been trying to catch up on some of my projects, here is one of the headbands I made the pics dont do it justice its hard to take a picture of your own head!

I found an old headband we had lying around, Then used my grab bag of beads, that I got at Hobby Lobby and picked out some random ones I liked and hot glued them on. Super easy and cheap! P.s those buttons are probably my favorite buy, the bags are never the same and you get over 100 buttons for $4.99 I use them for everything!

swimming, swimming, swimming!

This is Abby's last day of swim lessons she has done so good this year and I can now say that she can swim all by herself!
This is Abby's friend Hudson he was in her preschool class also. She has been talking about him since the first day they met, she says he is her prince, and they have apparently already been married on the playground. I swear I have never seen a 4 year old with such a deep crush she literally loves this boy. She talks about how she is going to marry him for real when she turns 5, because that means she is old enough to go to real school. (I told her she had to wait till she was 35 but we'll see)

A few weeks ago I took the girls to swim at valvista lakes they had a blast, Im pretty sure Maggie ate a pound of sand! Maggie is so happy in the water so we try to go swimming a lot, she is hardly ever fussy if we are outside and/or especially swimming It sure does make my life a little easier when she isnt crying, grouchy, or screaming!
